‘Murder 2′ has not just turned out to be the biggest success ever for the Bhatt camp; it is now already Emraan’s biggest grosser till date when it comes to his solo releases. While ‘Jannat’ had done just a little in the upwards of 30 crores, ‘Murder 2′ with it’s 36 crores tag is already sitting pretty at superhit mark with very good chances of making further progress.
The film is also special for Emraan since after Salman, it is he who has enjoyed maximum footfalls in the opening week. Even though ‘Double Dhamaal’ as well as ‘Delhi Belly’ had netted similar collections (in the range of 36 crores after one week), Emraan’s film has managed to elbow them out, hence enabling him to sit pretty in elite company
