I AM SINGH: theatrical trailer
Puneet Issar returns to the big screen with his movie about the anti-Sikh sentiment, post 9/11
When the World Trade Centre attacks rock the US, American Sikhs become the first victims of retaliation – all because of their turban. Puneet Issar’s I Am Singh follows the story of one man Ranveer Singh (Gulzar Inder Chahal) and his family in Los Angeles who suffer a tragic fate at the hands of local hoodlums after the 9/11 attacks. Ranveer joins forces with an American attorney (Brooke Johnston), an FBI agent and an LAPD officer of Indian origin (Puneet) to get justice for his family. Whether he will succeed at a time when even the local cops have joined forces with the hoodlums is what the film is all about.
