Is Salman Khan the Rajinikanth of Bollywood?

Salman Khan is beginning to acquire the demigod status that a mega star like Rajinikanth enjoys in the south. Even Kareena Kapoorvouches for this fact. Do you agree?


The first trailer of Bodyguard has been met with effusive praises from Salman Khan’s fans and it seems that another hit movie is on the cards. Salman Khan is also emerging as the best action hero of Bollywood, at a par with Rajinikanth down south.

Kareena Kapoor recently said that Salman is the Rajinikanth of Bollywood.

“He (Salman) is a natural born actor. Whatever he does ecomes a craze. To me, he's the Rajnikant of Bollywood,” Kareena said.

But Salman Khan himself is dismissive about the comparison.

“Main jahan hoon wahan theek hoon. Unki apni jagah hai aur meri apni (I am glad to be where I am. Rajnikant has his own place and I have mine)” Salman said.

Well, Salman may be humble to dismiss the comparison, but we decided to ask the readers their opinion. Is Salman Khan the Rajinikanth of Bollywood?
